The rules, in plain words

Effective 2 November 2026. These terms cover the Hairmaxxy iPhone app (bundle ID com.hairmatch.ios) and this website. By using the app you agree to them.

1. Apple's terms apply too

You get the app from the App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA) applies. These terms add to it. If the two ever disagree, the Apple EULA wins.

2. What Hairmaxxy does

Hairmaxxy shows you new haircuts, styles and wigs on a photo of your face. The looks are made by computer and are a preview, not a promise. Real hair, a real cut and a real wig can look different. Talk to your barber, stylist or wig expert before you cut, color or buy.

3. Plans and looks

• Plans. Hairmaxxy Pro is a subscription (weekly or yearly). Apple charges your Apple ID when you confirm. It renews by itself unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Cancel any time in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Hairmaxxy account does not cancel it.
• Looks. Each plan includes a number of new looks per period (shown on the plan before you buy). One look is one new photo: a front try-on, or one side, back or top view. Seeing, saving and sharing looks you already have never uses a look. A look that fails is not counted.
• Plan looks reset. Unused plan looks don't carry over to the next period, except when you upgrade from weekly to yearly: what's left this week is added to your first yearly month.
• Extra looks. Pro members can buy extra looks. They never expire, are used after your plan's looks, and stay usable even if your plan ends. They belong to your Apple ID, so Restore Purchases brings them to a new phone.
• Fair use. To keep the service working for everyone there is a daily limit per phone. If you hit it, try again the next day.
• Refunds. Apple handles payments and refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Your photos and your account

• You keep all rights to your photos. You let us use a photo only to make the look you asked for, and, if you sign in and back up, to keep it for you. Our privacy policy says exactly what is sent, kept and deleted.
• An account is optional. If you sign in with Apple or Google, keep your sign-in safe. You can delete your account any time in Settings, which deletes your backups too.

5. What you must not do

• Only use photos of yourself, or of someone who has said yes.
• Don't upload photos of children. Hairmaxxy is for people aged 13 and over.
• Don't upload nude or sexual images, or images of public figures to make fake photos of them.
• Don't use the app to harass, impersonate or deceive anyone, or to make anything illegal.
• Don't try to get around limits or payments, copy the service, or attack it.

We may refuse a request, or stop an account or phone that breaks these rules.

6. The looks you make

You may use the looks you make for yourself: save them, share them, show them to your barber. Don't present a look as a real photo of a real person who didn't agree to it.

7. No guarantees

We work hard to keep Hairmaxxy running and accurate, but it is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that a look will match a real result. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for any decision you make about your hair based on a preview. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, the app will tell you. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
